Communication

This guide details the internal and external communication platforms and contact numbers for the organization.


Internal Messaging

  • We recommend using Google Chat or Signal for internal messaging and communication.

Employee Work Phones (Google Voice)

Google Voice is recommend to be used for employees to create and use as a work phone number.

  • Policy: Employees will NEVER give out their personal phone numbers to customers/clients.
  • Availability: The Google Voice mobile app allows for “Do Not Disturb” mode to enable/disable when you are and are not working.

Email

  • We recommend work email to be hosted by:
  • Google Workspace/Gmail - ‘https://workspace.google.com/’
  • Microsoft Office 365 - `https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/exchange/exchange-online’

Phone Numbers (External & Internal)

Number Use Case Notes
Office/Reception: External: The number you will give out to customers/clients if asked. This is the primary customer contact number.
Manager Direct Cell: Internal: The number you will call/text if: (Call & SMS)
  - You are calling in sick  
  - You are running late  
  - You have a question, or you need help during a job  
  - Just want to say “A-Suh Duh!”
