These disclaimers outline the limits of liability for general service work, client data, and remote support sessions.
General Disclaimer
We the service provider cannot be responsible for re-infections with viruses or malware, or any hardware or software failures that occurred after a repair. Our liability does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, water damage, power surges, dropping damage, fire, flood, tornado, or other acts of God.
The provider is not responsible for damage that does not directly result from the actual repair work performed.
Data Disclaimer
Clients are solely responsible for any and all of their computer data and data backups.
While the provider may complete a data backup, transfer, or recovery service, no responsibility is accepted for any data loss or data damage arising from any backup, transfer, recovery work, or any other service completed on a clientβs system.
Remote Support Disclaimer
By requesting and accepting a remote session, you agree to the following terms:
Client Responsibility and Privacy
- Acceptance of Responsibility: You accept responsibility for any changes made to the desktop content or system settings during the session.
- Privacy and Security: For your security and privacy, exit any applications displaying personal or confidential information before allowing the operator to initiate a remote session.
- Presence: It is recommended to remain seated at your desktop throughout the entire remote session.
- Session Start: The service provider will email instructions before any remote session is established and agreed upon.
Liability Limitations
- No Guarantee: The service provider cannot guarantee that any service will resolve a problem or that attempting to rectify a technical issue will not cause additional problems.
- No Assumption of Liability: The service provider does not assume and is not responsible for any liability for the linking and viewing of any desktop content, the operation of installed software, or system performance.
- Data Loss: The service provider will not be held responsible for any data loss if any occurred during or after a remote session.
Data Backup Note: Your data is important. It is up to you to ensure that you back up your data on a regular basis. If you require help in setting up a backup procedure, contact your preferred service provider.
